Well I am old and also a quilter so between fabric and “cool stuff” but I have selective hearing 😂 and he thinks I need hearing aids 😂😂😂 I only hear what makes sense and neither fabric or paper makes sense so he is talking to himself 😂.

Hubby knows I look forward to the Sunday morning meeting with this fantastic lady. He does not bother me. In fact He and my Son are always handing me items "can you use this for something" I accept it with grace and use it if I can. I'm a "Lucky" wife...just celebrated 53years of marriage March 6th. Ladies don't give up or give in. He has his garage/stuff and Me I have my She Shed🤗

Mine checks with me. But then, he's always been a re-user of harder materials like wood. He'll cut down an old table to make garden things, or shelves, or even to add to the rabbits' housing. Just yesterday he decided we needed a rice cooker, handed me the box after suggesting how good a size it is for my storage😁

Glossy Accents works nicely as glue for cellophane & it dries clear & glossy =). I've even used it to repair the side seams when they give up. I had an idea to do a journal full of transparent pages, years ago.. my cat kinda stole it. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy laying on top of the crinkle & making noise.

I love all of these - thank you! I can’t remember where I saw the original idea, but sometimes I take extra threads and tiny fabric scraps and put them between clear embroidery stabilizer that later dissolves in water. Then I sew all over it very close together to catch all the bits, then wash it to remove the stabilizer. It makes a very cool textural piece of fabric.

I’m literally sitting here laughing out loud at your description of the threads/hair!!! I feel the same way exactly…we spend all this time fixing our hair, but see one single hair on the table or sink and the gag reflex kicks in!🤣 So, so true! Now, about your projects…I love all (except the hair/threads) and will be making most of them. You don’t have to doubt why you do a thing or everything has to have a purpose. Some things can just be pretty and that’s all they need to be. Those little things that you can’t write on can still be added to a journal just like ephemera of any kind. This is a great video Natasha! Do you think cereal box liners would have the same effect? I have a LOT of those.

So sorry for your loss. ❤ Hope you get to make pretty little things that bring you some joy. I’m starting to think of ways to gift people things like paper pockets i’ve made. One friend puts a pocket in her Bible study workbook to hold index cards with verses. I glue pockets onto my composition book to hold receipts, etc. For Valentine’s Day, I gave each friend a pocket holding a tea bag and handmade mini Valentine i made out of inexpensive blank place cards. Creators definitely brighten our days! Blessings to you for plenty of joy! 🎉

Dear Natasha ❤ ohh, asmr to start. Perfect video before bed. I've just found some of this flat plastic too! 🤭 Those sequin book marks, are wow! Been way too hot up here to do much. ✂️ Inspiration to the maximum. Thanks a bunch and hugs to Banjo 🇦🇺💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖Edit, idea.... for the hearts, use two layers of plastic filled with sequins, string❤ together, end to end, add beads in between each ❤for sparkling sun catcher. ❤

Absolutely love this, Natasha! I am a great one for saying, "Can I make art out of this?" to which my hubby usually replies with a resounding "NO!" which I take as a challenge to prove him wrong! One of the things I love the most about this project is the gorgeous tactile rustling they make! I'm a texture junkie and think these are gorgeous. I particularly like that fabulous ribbon you showed at the beginning - never seen any like that before. I have a lot of scraps of trimmings and ribbons, and masses of sequins I thought I'd probably never use, and like you I save all my thread offcuts. Nice to have new ideas for using up all this stuff and making something beautiful in the process. I love your creativity!

I'm still here at the end. I love the fidget bookmarks. That ribbon is amazing. And I like the little tags. You could put a tiny sticker inside with glitter or some other tiny filler and sew with a matching thread. These are my favorite type of videos, where you show x number of ways to use something. 😊

YOU GIVE ME SUCH GREAT IDEAS! I can't wait to get to my stash and start crafting. IDEA: when you showed the square filled with batting there was a pocket you said had no purpose BUT what if you make deep pockets, turn it upside down and slide it over something like thick cardstock that you have attached (just the bottom half) to a journal page to "hang" the square in the book yet you can lift/slide it off when you want to play with it.😊

I appreciate that you use materials that would be tossed in the bin. I think that all the projects in this episode were fun and useful. Even the shaker cards are useful as greeting cards- they're novel and fun. You could paint the butterfly and flowers with alcohol ink?
