2K19 had a lot going for it. I still play it to this day. When they rebooted the series in 2022, they change the controls around, and removed a bunch of stuff. It was unnecessary.

Features I want in 2K25: 5 count ropebreak, chain wrestling, weapon grapples, able to stack tables, Road To Wrestlemania, Defeat the Streak (or maybe Defeat The Bloodline), Promos in Universe Mode, More locations for backstage brawls and interactive environments like the SvR games and most importantly.... FIX 08 KANE'S FACE!!!!!!!

2k19 is still my top dawg. You can do irish whips, light and heavy grapples right way. I hate the new system where we have to do ugly combos and perform holds just do those things.

I was an active WWE fan till 2018 and coming back to wwe at 2024 feels empty, i think 2k24 gives us gameplay and modes to compensate the loss of rosters. Which is sad for me because even with mods, modders can't bring life to those superstars, i respect those modders who works their asses of (definitely more then 2k devs) to give us rosters but still games feel empty because of lack of small details, Entrances and commentaries that WWE brings with their official rosters. For me WWE 2K19 is still the best WWE game for this decade (2014-2024) after 2k14.

I will just say this: I think the fact that people use 2K19 as a benchmark case shows what a good, solid game it was at the time. Then again, it’s not like 2K20 set the bar high to begin with. In fact, 2K20 was so bad that I was twice shy without actually being bit.

God I still pray that one day the 2K19 servers would reopen so I could feel like a *GOD* again. Although I already feel bad enough that I didn’t play it online until the final 5 months, but I am glad to say though that playing it offline for so long helped me so much to train for those online matches and becoming one of the hottest 2K19 performers ever to never win a League Championship (post Styles Tower thing where you coulda won a million dollars). But honestly I still play 2K19 though for the created AEW wrestlers that never made it to the initial Fight Forever roster. But like I still yearn for the days of kicking absolute ass but at the same time having so much fun (especially with the Steel Cage matches that me and my then-friend did). Also to be honest this is practically the reason why I haven’t touched a 2K game since. I don’t care about 2K20, 2K22 or 2K23 and so on. You’ll never convince me that those games take as much skill and are as much fun as 2K19 was (and I was playing WWE games since SVR 2006). As of now though until the 2K19 servers are ever reopened (a man can dream), I am sticking with Fight Forever through and through. Thank you. Oh and 2K really fudged up trying to reinvent the wheel after 2K19. Super retarded AI and just nostalgia-baiting everyone into buying recent titles just like Madden.

That's one example but if your a big high overall star eg a John cena vs curt Hawkins the match is over even big show vs Cole quinn the match is over in like 30 seconds 2 punches, special move, finisher, pin or submission.

You gotta give 2K19 credit. It's still relevant having come out five years ago! There are still some things that the game did better even now! That said, 2k24 may finally be the game that helps me move on from 2k19. The weapon upgrades, tag team controls, and several other quality additions to the gameplay and AI make it a fun game. I bought 2k22 two years ago and instantly regretted that decision, hence why I skipped last year's game which added nothing other than War Games... What a joke... As much as I love 2k19, it certainly has its own flaws as well. Namely, sometimes the game would slow to a crawl way too quickly. I almost wish all the upgrades in 2k24 were just in the 2k19 engine. I loved the squash matches and limited reversals.
