People need to know the proper definition of snitching. Snitching is when you are an accomplice to a crime and you turn on your crime partner(s) and report them to the law or an authority figure, usually in hopes of getting lesser punishment. A parent turning in their child for a crime that the child committed and that the parent had no part of is NOT snitching.

THANK YOU! I get so tired of having to explain that to people. Our community is so messed up over a dumb street code that pledges allegiance to some folks that lower your property value, keeps you and your kids unsafe, and holds many people behind. There is a huge difference between snitching and getting poison out of your community by letting the truth be known.

Dads just love there kids more than moms do. Dads will literally die for there kids moms will sacrifice there kids for there own happiness and choose men over there kids and rat on there kids just like this lady did. Dads will do the most to protect there kids from anything even if they did something wrong, moms won’t. Not only them aunties, sisters, girl cousins, girlfriends, babymommas, wife’s, will all tell on you if they know a little what you are doing especially black women, don’t nobody mess over black men and tell on them more than black women and even in slavery time black women will sacrifice her kids or beat them for them peoples but a black man Will literally die for his kids.

And only 16% of men get majority of the women pregnant and you blame all men for the men that women choose in their lives when majority of men are single and barley can get women because of inflated egos and standards. And what woman can protect a child better than a man ? A man will kill and die and of course are stronger than women so who will you rather have stand up for you mommas boy ? This made me think of a story out of DC a few weeks ago. A 12 year old boy was shot and killed. Thing was, him and his friends were out at 4 am breaking into cars. A guy was up, getting ready for work and heard some commotion outside at 4 am, so he got his gun and went outside, saw the group of people and said one of them charged him. As it turned out, it was a group of teenagers. I saw so many people on Twitter saying the guy was wrong and he should not have done that to a teenager and my first thought was, why are a group of teenagers out at 3 am breaking into cars? Where are their parents? My next thought was, there appeared to be evidence that the teen charged him, what exactly was he supposed to do? If I make myself known and you are doing something you shouldn't be doing, most people run the other way. If you charging somebody, you want the smoke. I hate that lil dude died but we can't let criminals get off just cause they are 13 years old. 13 year olds kill people too. EDIT: the guy who was a DC city employee was charged with 2nd degree murder

He could have pulled a gun on the man immediately.

I would let my husband handle it if my son did this. Because putting him in juvenile jail might make him worst. If the jail system worked as a rehabilitation center like it’s supposed to then it would be a different story.

Jail System could work fine if the government made stiffer penalties for people's actions. Example: You kill someone unlawfully, you get capital punishment. You Rob somebody at gunpoint, firing squad. Think about it, stricker penalties less crimes simple.

@@whodat4lyfekris But then people wouldn’t turn their children over to the police when they commit crimes. If a child is robbing someone at gun point, the jail system isn’t going to care about getting to the root of the problem and helping that child become a better person. They’re just going to put that child in a system where he/ or she isn’t meant to heal or succeed.

He gave that woman too much credit. How do u know she tried everything. She may not have done much for that boy at all, and he may have been neglected. How do u solely blame a 13yr old boy for his actions, HES 13!!. If a 13 year old girl was touched by a dude, u would blame her for wearing skimpy clothes and makeup to look older and acting grown, so give him the same benefit of the doubt. What has that mother not been doing to where her son had that much time to pick up those habits? That mother has failed him

Was it a real gun or was it loaded? That is the dumbest question . It shouldn't matter. That man's peace of mind was stripped of him because of this teen's recklessness. Some people carry that trauma with them for the rest of their life regardless of what they took. Also if they had any sense, then a "talk" at the age of 13 isn't going to do ANYTHING. Most people currently during time in prison as adults started committing crimes in their early teens. He needs to be arrested and charged. Hopefully DJ Envy's gets some sense. Ray J is low-key immature so his response was exactly what I was expecting.

A child behaving like a child is one thing. A child holding people at gun point and committing grand theft auto is another. There are consequences to your actions, and actions like these lead to two things: prison or death. The latter being worse than the first, so the mother did what she had to do. By the way, if his mother knew he had a warrant and she let him stay in the house, she could also be charged with harboring a fugitive.
