He has enhanced it further, but darts was growing leaps and bounds years before littler. If you had seen the youth english open, I think it was a few years back with Leyton Bennett getting beat off Beau Greaves that was some darts.

Really? What are you talking about, haha. Luke did almost nothing. Yes, performing absolutely well but other then that? The people that did so many for the sport and really put it on the map are Taylor, Barney, Gary to name a few. Way back in the days. Not Luke. He probably start playing because of those guys.

@@Ins4neinthemembran3i agree and don’t agree with u, my 12 yr old nephew and a 17 yr old lad who plays on my darts team, started playing county youth and now have dreams to become a professional, all because of Luke littler, he’s inspiring the younger generation and is bringing a lot more viewers to the sport

@Ins4neinthemembran3 I agree that Taylor, MVG, Humphries etc all the way back to Leighton Rees were and are the best. What I was trying to say was Littler, probably because of his age, has encouraged so many talented youngsters to take up darts as a sport

They seemed to be fairly evenly matched on the scoring darts but the young Belgian was just absolutely clinical with his doubles reaching a finishing percentage any adult pro would be proud of. A worthy junior world champion.

The older players want to start to think about retirement . 🤣🤣. These academies are starting to really hit the pro game . Also the Dutch and Belgian players are starting to make a big influence . Ok we have the likes of MVG and Barnie , but it has mostly been British players at the top , now it is going far more international .
