So I'm a stamper and make tons of cards but I'm kinda fussy and like my cards 'just so' I can't draw to save my life(stick people anyone?) so I have found that alcohol ink allows me to 'go with the flow' and just see what comes from playing. Myriam, this is beautiful! I personally like when you use all the colors in the bubble clusters, but that's just me. For framing, I like both vertical positions, but I absolutely LOVE the horizontal position in the 'U' orientation. I wish you livved next door to me so that we could hang out together.

Beautiful. I had just purchased the whole set of these inks and had to see if you had a video or two or three that I could watch on them. Sure enough, you do! Your enthusiasm is catching and I will enjoy cracking open my inks tomorrow. Umm, somehow I had a hard time getting past where you wiped the paper after the magenta ink went to the left edge. From my monitor it looked less organic and, well, like you'd erased it in a fairly straight line. I love your ethereal work the best as this one is. I have only been successful with wisps with my Ranger inks sometimes, but trying the blow dryer on the low setting may help a lot. I'll try that tomorrow too. Thank you so much. I can only aspire to making gorgeous abstracts and much more like you.

Boy am I learning g a lot from watching your videos on using alcohol inks. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with you. I am so attracted to the wispiness of the diluted alcohol inks and your way of moving it around. I am just developing a likeness for abstract art. After watching your previous video with these alcohol inks, I bought the whole set, plus 2 extra bottles of the rainbow ink and 2 packs of the grafix paper. I got right to work when they arrived and I love them. Seriously...that paper is amazing and once I'm finished with all my other yupo papers from various sources, i will never buy anything except grafix. I hope by then its available at other stores. You are the queen of bubbly and bubbles! You are a delight and I love this tutorial. My preference for framing is landscape with the lighter pink pushing up from bottom left to upper right corner. Looks like space ship streaking through the bubble cosmos. Like to think of myself as realistically abstract meaning I like to see something real in the abstract. Maybe too many Rorschach ink tests in my past? I had fun playing with regular clear hand sanitizer spread on heavy cardstock instead of plastic or yupo. Maybe you could give that a try in a demo? Had a lot of fun with how the ink travels in the gel. I'm going to try a stamp on yupo and bubble it up along the lines of the stamp. Vae-weeeee-intawesting.

Hi Lily! First of all, thank you so much! To answer your question... I really gave it some thought and I’d pick the airbrush because I can do more with it. If I hold it far enough away I can get similar effects to a dryer AND I still have the option of coming in nice and close for all sorts of cool effects.
