Great question at the beginning. I have not been able to understand this either. Is it a reflection or is it of our making? It's complex. Is my anger a reflection is my envy a reflection or is it a distortion? God isn't lustful no. But when we desire more our Love turns to lust? Is it like this in regards to all these negative actions and emotions? Does God get angry or hateful or greedy or is all of this our lust variably manifesting?

According to the Vaishnava Acaryas all the emotions that we feel, God can also feel. But for God these are transcendental emotions. They are not touched by the material energy. The material energy makes us think that we are the center. When I get angry it is because someone has offended my ego, or harmed someone who I identify with, etc. When God feels anger it is only for the pleasure of the devotees. Think of the story of Prahlad. Similarly, even pure devotees can get angry at Krishna. But when they get angry it is only to please Krishna. Like when Radharani gets angry at Him for some misdeed, Krishna gets so happy because there is only devotion behind her actions. When I get angry it is because of selfishness, that is the distortion.

Thanks I have a better grasp I feel. However this isn't straightforward. Prabhupada could give us the simplicity required. Anyway Hare Krsna everybody.
