When the subject is mentioned to infitive is used . When the subject is not mentioned and the object alone is mentioned vth form of the verb(past participle)is used. stop stops stopped stopping stopped. I got the driver to stop the bus. I got the bus stopped. ഞാൻ ഡ്രൈവറെ കൊണ്ട് ബസ് നിർത്തിച്ചു. ഞാൻ ബസ്സ് നിർത്തിച്ചു. (In both sentences, the ideas are same.)

I stopped the bus(Here, I'm the driver. Not causative) I got the driver to stop the bus. (Here, I'm only a passenger. But I asked the driver to stop the bus and the driver stopped the bus. I became the 'cause' to stop the bus. So I used 'got' as a causative verb. The same idea can be said in passive voice. I got the bus stopped.
