I need to get me some of those fiberglass erasers. I think they can come of use on some of my old computers as well. They use the same type of connector for add-in boards and those start to have contact issues after about 10 or 20 years. Probably also depends on how they are stored though. Last time I used to reseat the card a few times and that did the trick, but the fiberglass eraser probably is a more reliable solution.

What value capacitor are you using on the switches and, where can i get these spay-on cabinet stencils?
@tntamusements7 жыл бұрын
The perfect capacitor to use is from Jameco #2146302. Its a .1uf 50volt ceramic disc cap! The side art stencil is from Jeff at Classic ARcades!

Todd, I want to comment because I like what you do in these videos. You’re the star of these shoots. Not sure of why you need your brother there with you. He’s a distraction and doesn’t have the gravitas nor passion that you have. Also Im not a fan of the commentary from the cameraman. It’s mostly mean spirited towards you but it isn’t funny nor informative. What I’m trying to say is put a gag on these guys because they take away from you and your passion and your fun and intelligent take on what you do. Just my 2 cents

When I started taking my Laser Ball apart, I got the feeling that the plastics had never been taken off. Not much wear on the playfield, but the wood was black with soot under the plastics. Easy enough to clean off, but man was it dirty

That's one thing i am not a fan of. LED lightning on any machine. It's just to bright and sharp. It just doesn't have the same look that i grew up with. Not a fan.
@ACA3327 жыл бұрын
I partially agree. What I found is LEDs look great behind coloured plastics, they really help the colours stand out. I prefer incandescent for play field lighting, same with the back glass.

Rather odd choice to use a song from the non-makeup era ('Lick It Up' from 1983) for a KISS Pinball machine made at the band's height of popularity in 1978...

I like the song!

I do too. Only KISS could get away with writing a song about the singer talking a woman into performing fellatio on him... :P
