134 Child Labourers Rescued from Gujarat | Operation Baal Swaraj | Child Labour in India

The Rajasthan team launched mission "Baal Swaraj" and reached Gujarat's Surat district to rescue the children who were taken by agents from tribal areas of the Rajasthan state, mostly from the Udaipur district.
A team of 50 cops, government officers, and NGO volunteers rescued #134_child_labourers in the age in the age group of 10 to 16 years in raids carried out at multiple labour colonies in the city’s Puna area on 29 December 2019. The raids were carried out by Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (RSCPCR), Government of Rajasthan.
This is till now the #biggest #Child_Labour_Rescue carried out by the #Rajasthan_State in other State under the leadership of Dr. Shailendra Pandya, a Member to RSCPCR - GoR. Through this video, we have tried to document the rescue process and acknowledge the coordination, support and assistance provided by Rajasthan Police, #AHTU_Rajasthan, Labour Department - GoR, AHTU- Gujarat, #Police_Station_Puna - #Surat district, NGOs (BBA, SSS, and Childline). Also the News & Media houses to provide a light on this pressing issue.
