Shivani, this is such an incredible listen. Completely agree with Coral, once one seed is planted, there’s a whole world to discover beyond the standardised norms. Just a personal point, knowledge of homeschooling doesn’t necessarily have to be for your own children. It changes your interactions with all the children in life as a whole. Kudos on this episode, I have literally shared it with so many family members, big love

Vaccination is based on massive medical evidence and the concept of wider responsibility towards society. So I disagree about lumping in decisions about vaccines with decisions about how to raise and educate your children. Vaccinations have a knock-on effect on herd immunity, and the advent of vaccines has had immeasurable positive health benefits for children and wider society. However, your interpretation of what is right for your child regarding their education is completely different. I 100% agree that we should question whether the established schooling system is right for our children. Me and my wife made the choice to home educate our children as we felt it would give them the best chance to thrive and develop their true talents. It's also a wonderful experience for us as parents - albeit it's not an easy lifestyle! We have also, however, vaccinated our children to give them the best chance of a healthy life and to be responsible to the other children and families we interact with in everyday life.

Was wondering did you look at the vaccination inserts with the ingredients and potential side effects before you vaccinated your children?

@@floweroflife4054 I'm sure the nurses administering the vaccines mentioned any potential short-term side effects - but in general I trusted the research, development and advice of the medical experts who weighed up huge amounts of data from trials and real-world impact, and concluded it was safe and necessary. Based on that I decided it was probably for the best for my children. Don't get me wrong - I question plenty of things that others might take for granted, but I also know that it's good to still be able to trust an expert when my knowledge and understanding isn't enough!

The evidence that is bought by the companies that manufacture those vaccines. Show me independent studies and we can have a discussion then.

Ok so will all due respect, there’s so much I agree with in this video but there’s a lot that I don’t agree with at all. For starters, Coral says kale wouldn’t look appetising to our ancestors and when Shivani makes the coolest point ever about the cow… she says we evolve, I mean how convenient right? When you wanna prove your point, you twist the ancestry preferences 😔. Secondly, very few people can have access to and afford organic meat so promoting that is sinister behaviour- 👋🏻 let’s think of the antibiotics used in the conventional meat. I used to eat meat and then I stopped- I have organic eggs from an amazing farm I luckily have access to. Coral speaks about not eating vegetables- that made my jaw drop on horror. Anyway, like a said, a lot I disagree with. Coming to home schooling, OH MY GOD, how can they say why put that in somebody else’s hands 😱. Every parent tries to send their child to the best possible school which has teachers who have spent countless hours studying and understanding how to teach, forming a curriculum, etc. This video should ideally have shed light on good teachers, well thought through education systems, etc. we cannot do everything- tomorrow we would want to farm our own food, then build our own home, then put together our own car - gosh! This sounds so taxing. I feel it’s good to outsource parts of life which you know you struggle in - just a heartfelt suggestion to all. Oh and I genuinely considered homeschooling for my child but found a Waldorf School in my city and gosh I am so grateful. By the way, in the book Conversations with God, God actually recommends Waldorf school. I personally found it better than the idea of home schooling - it’s just taking too much on your plate and over complicating your life. Maximum people don’t have that kind of time, patience and skill to teach. Shivani, I try to watch all your podcasts and really respect what you do. Lots of love and thank you for such amazing content. ❤ Love, Sia (Life Coach, Hormone Health Coach, Spiritual Coach, Energy Healer & Teacher, Tarot Card Reader & Teacher, Switch Word & Energy Circles Practitioner, Drawing & Handwriting Analyst, Feeding Thy Soul Blog)
