@DAsAngel1960 Жыл бұрын
These turned out beautifully! On my screen the rose gold looks yellow gold, and I think the "bleaching" effect might have come from the chemicals and heat changing the properties of the dye and maybe even the glass itself. All-in-all, I really love these!
@miniscenesgb Жыл бұрын
Oh thank you! Yeh to the naked eye it looks like silver but on camera yes pale gold. Yes probably some fort of bleaching. J4Y team ere in chat as all the other materials I was usuing were theirs, they too were surprised at this other brand of crushed glass and are now planning to launch one - I will report back when they do _ I fully expect theirs to be massively better

@miniscenesgb Жыл бұрын
Not sure what I was expecting to be honest, i don't think I was expecting the little cell effect maybe. It was a total experiment for me. The crushed glass, I agree, though it was odd and annoying that it changed, the colour it ended up did work nicely anyway :) It did end up quite marble like so overall, yeh I was very happy :)

Thanks. I do want to try those effects as i like to learn everything but yes, it's become overload. Tea and Art's recent ones have been the best I've seen - and she's just done a few exceptional ones, so it's not overload. She's not a "one trick pony" is she :) I like to master techniques so I can say I can basically do them. I might revisit Daniel Cooper technique Perti swirls soon as I have jewellery orders to fill

These effects are amazing and of course everyone wants to achieve them. There is s paid course out there from a very humbled person who has a crazy mind for resin and it's effects. I do understand that she wants to protect her effects. Mini I am so much looking forward for your tryouts 😍🫶😍

Tracey, these are gorgeous and really do have that marble effect, in my opinion. Just awesome! I do have a question though, I noticed there is an orange peel/roughness to the surface look. Is that just the silver giving an optical effect?

On tv this looks gold, not the silver you’re saying. They are beautiful but if that had been a commission and they wanted the rose gold I would have been disappointed x
@miniscenesgb Жыл бұрын
Agreed, it depends on the light. now I see it on screen it loos like pale gold, but to the naked eye, silver. Very odd. The team from Just4YouOnline were in live chat on the premiere of this video and saw what happened with the brand I used here. They have committed to re-releasing their rose gold chips, so once i have some to test, I'll replicate this video using their version, see what happens then. if it HAD been a commission - yes I would have had to do another set, you're absolutely right
