That little scene where they talk about Olli's modelling photos is the sweetest thing I've seen in months (and Christian's little smile at catching Olli ogling is the cutest). I just like that they can talk now without the bitterness always creeping in. Even when they argue, they're quick to regret it and apologise. It's such a relief.

The quality of the acting is unbelievable. Their facial expressions, the slight movements, etc. say more than words. They cannot be planning to break them up when they are allowing them to show their love this way. The care with the blanket, the complimenting of Olli's grey hair. Dare we start hoping? I also see the beginning of some acceptance of each other as flawed, normal humans instead of expecting each other to be perfect and automatically know what the other needs without being told. Every relationship has to go through that transition, how they handle it is key to whether they get back together or not. There needs to be forgiveness on both parts.

I know that couples cannot be happy in stories the whole time, that is why I like the whole breakup thing, I also know that Chrolli had to get back together. But this was the first ep that gave me hope that this was going to happen. They really have to come up with a bang of a reconciliation to beat the Rob saga recon. Now, for the really importan thing. I absolutely LOVED all the subtle and not-so-subtle interaction between Chris and Olli in this episode. Seems like the rifts are starting to heal, and they're discovering just how much they can lean on each other, in sicknes and health, in good and bad. That's what love is about, at the end. For once, I love the scriptwriters. And of course, love you, @MercuryMay01.

Poor Christian. Always having to moonlight. Even during "Ropp" days, he left work at Konigsbrunn to work again at NoLimits for the parties. And when Philip was in hospital, he had to cover for Olli at the bar. He more than pulls his weight. Now he is doing construction. I still have not forgotten when he turns prissy Chrissie though.

@kawtharfromdz I think you have, inadvertently, hit on the most powerful part of this relationship. Christian fell in love with a person, Olli, not a gender. I think the fact that he, unfortunately, looked for an escape with a woman vs a man, in itself somewhat less bad. The power of this relationship and why so many straight people can relate to it is that it is about an incredible love between two people, not that it is between two gay men. I would feel exactly the same if the writers

This storyline, if exposed to an ever increasing audience, has the opportunity to contribute to the breaking down of barriers to understanding. For me, a father of a gay man very similar to Christian, that is my hope for the Chrolli storyline. And that its success will spawn other mainstream storylines of similar quality and message. Viewer count shows people care about reconciliation

Could some of the old writers be back? Notice what they are doing. They are showing the caring people they created over 3 yrs. Christian stepping up and not letting Olli face this alone, is exactly what he would have done, even offering his insurance money - all when they are still expecting to divorce. Most straight couples, in the midst of divorce, would not have done that. Again, congrats for showing a great side of this love story. Forgive and move on together
