With all due respect to every single one of you, I've been listening to Hardstyle since 2010, and this might sound like a comment based on hate or something similar, but it's not. It is unfortunate, but Hardstyle, the true one that made us fans of this genre, is dead. Right now, every song sounds the same as the last one, even if made by two different artists. I know that this still makes a lot of people happy, and everyone is creating something they truly love, but I can't handle the same kicks and drum patterns. Nowadays, everything is raw-ish: the same screech, the same sound system, the same lead, and the same kick. If you're around long enough, you can call out the artist's name without even seeing the name of the song or album. Now everyone wants the same sound that other producers have, and it's so sad. I don't understand why people have forgotten that there's space for every style in the same universe. Eight years ago, we could differentiate Raw, Euphoric, Hardcore, Jumpstyle, Traditional, Techno, and other styles. I know times change, but now it's a mess. Don't get me wrong, I still respect every single artist, but man, I miss the old days with songs like Scantraxx Rootz by Heady, We Speak Music from Showtek, Living for the Moment by Ran-D, Halos by Frontliner, and two hundred other fantastic, mythic songs. Now every single song feels the same. This is just a comment that a lot of fans might relate to. I hope in the coming years, we can get back to the things that truly made us happy with this genre. I'll keep listening, but we lost something along the way.
