I get the process, but the speed and he doesn’t second guess what he’s saying. And he doesn’t seem to be overly concerned about lyrics, he knows what to do with his melodies. And he has a million of them. To create the melody and lyrics(not the craziest lines ever) but instantly create these melodies that take you all over the place is crazy.

Respectfully brudda, I’m an engineer/artist and yes it’s Tory’s paper, he’s the one painting…but you wouldn’t want this track/painting without the engineer, trust me. No matter how talented Tory is. There’s so much processing & maneuvers that allows Tory to be comfortable enough to be able to record like this. Again….. Tory is talented af, but this song would be cheeks without his engineer. This is not opinion, this is facts. The engineer does throw it all together & makes it exciting amongst other things. If Tory recorded this by himself and did all the recording/mixing/patching in/compressing/EQ’n/D-essing/transitions/fixing vocal inflictions/tuning properly/mastering etc….. it wouldn’t be this exciting to watch. The sound would HEAVILY alter. An engineer is an artist’s savior and the artist saves the engineer cuz they couldn’t get paid without the artist. 💯
