What a waste of life, both his and the victim. What a waste of public money on the penal system that has to house and feed this remorseless killer. Prison is not a deterrent for such people, in there they'll have all their buddies, access to drugs and at some point he'll end up killing another inmate over something stupid, or he'll get killed himself. The victim's family will never see Ruby Garcia again, and they are condemned to have to live with the memory of her violent death. Meanwhile, the murderer will receive visits from familiy and friends and will never have to do anything to pay for his food, clothing and shelter for the rest of his life. I like to see no concurrent sentences passed. I think it is stupid to convict someone of multiple crimes and then have them run concurrent.
