13x16 DIY Post & Beam Pavilion Build Part 2: Setting 8x8 Posts

Part 2 of the 13x16 timber frame pavilion build....here we set the 8x8 posts into the foundation brackets and square everything up with temporary bracing to prep for installation of the timber frame above. All the lumber has been milled by myself on the Woodland Mill HM126 sawmill. SO satisfying building with lumber I milled myself with trees felled on my own property!

Looking great - wood to concrete bases cost waaay more than they should, just sayin'!

no doubt brackets to connect to concrete aren't cheap! These ones I used weren't too bad. Stainless steel and well made off amazon for about $35 per bracket. For stainless that is pretty reasonable I think as you never have to worry about them rusting or anything. Thanks for watching!!!
