My face instantly exploded seeing Yaki and Rousset after a few years. If only he had a crystal ball 🤣🐘 Je m'en souviens.

So, I'm not familiar with this type of fencing. Can someone explain what the deal is with the guy dropping his weapon at 5:00? Was that a form or protest, was it an accidental drop? I'm assuming it was a card because the pass was still ongoing, correct?

See these shitty rules make the fighters crazy and frustrated, so much for civil fencing etiquette.

Well, it's a sport and the person with the most points wins... Just like in every other sport.

well, seems you are saying the real point of fencing is to thrust through the body or chop off a leg...
@wickedwonderland98315 жыл бұрын
@@londiniumarmoury7037 That of course is true but the FIE is always trying to change the rules to make it a more interesting sport to play and to watch. After all fencing is not about swordmanship. If fencers wanted to fence with real swords they would do that. But no, it's an enjoyable sport on its own and not in any way comparable to HEMA. The only people that constantly compare them are you HEMA people, really 😂
