Yes this is why i love Abby Jimenez! As an occasional romance reader, who likes the "palate cleanser-ness" romance provides, Abby is perfect! She does such an incredible job of going beyond the romance and working through each persons personal journey, friend/family relationships, etc. Her books are just so much more than boy meets girl.

For Yours Truly, I think it was my favorite in the series, but the miscommunication actually really bothered me. The book establishes that the main pair speaks each other’s languages so fluently but then has them making wild assumptions about each other??? I was FRUSTRATED lol

💯 agree with Heartless Hunter and A Fate Inked in Blood. Not sure what happened to the character halfway through. She started so strong and then I felt like we lost her (along with the plot).

I so agree with you about Red Rising etc..

I adore those books by Abby Jiminez! I rated Part of Your World 4.5 stars (loved it, but it wasn't perfect), Yours Truly was 5 stars and my favorite, Just For the Summer also 5 stars. Such a great series!

I also read Yours Truly and Just For the Summer in July! Loved them both, although the miscommunication in Yours Truly was too much for me, haha. Absolutely obsessed with Just For the Summer though 😍 In July I also read The Tainted Cup, The Things We Cannot Say, Parable of the Sower, A Man Called Ove, First Lie Wins, Edgedancer, The Man Who Died Twice, and books 2 and 3 of the Once Upon a Broken Heart series!

How you feel about Binti is how I feel about the Weyward Children series by Seann Maguire. I love those books, and she's able to do so much with not a lot of page count. Its extraordinary when you find that in a writer! I recently finished The Kingdom of Copper, and I absolutely loved it!

I was going to read The Stardust Grail until I saw the CW.. surprising because I would not have expected a few of those things just from the synopsis .. if you are sensitive to certain topics/themes/events, I would look them up..

Every time I get to the end of The Expanse I want to go back to book 1. I wish I never read it before so I could read it again for the first time.

Girl, she just summarizes the book and gives her opinion, that's what a reading wrap up is, what did you expect??
@SarahAsYouWish3 ай бұрын
I have read a good chunk of the books she reviewed this month, and she did not venture into spoiler territory on any of them, just basic into plot summary. If you prefer going into books completely blind as far as the plot goes, then I would not watch wrap-ups.
