14 DAYS IN ISOLATION: VLOG | Louise Cooney

Hey,
It's been 3 weeks since my last video - the longest I've gone in ages! It feels weird to be recording in these strange times, online is a bit of a weird place at the moment. I do want to keep sharing - but I'm trying to be considerate of what's appropriate, what you guys want to see, whats possible for me to do... it's weird to get used to. But do let me know what you'd like to see more of. I'll do my best. We'll adjust to this new normal as best we can!
In this vlog you'll see me travel home from New York and go into self isolation for 14 days with my friend Charlotte. We followed all precautions and government guidelines and were given the OK from the guards and the hse to travel home to our families after the 2 weeks, where we will stay until the lockdown is over.

So happy you published this, really enjoyed it. I would say you have two camps of people amongst audience...those who prefer if influencers focus on pandemics, charity etc and those who want to escape through your content. I think some keep such a nice balance and I am pretty sure you can do it too. Keep filming workouts, fashion, beauty, working from home style videos. You do not have to feel guilty. People can feel at least a bit normal whilst watching it. You could do fun q&a with your family, you could do some recipes with your mum or sister, my brother/dad does my makeup, you could get your sister to do haul for you - order stuff she thinks you may like and then you can try it on and give feedback...there is so much people could enjoy x

Loved this vlog! I was shocked at the beginning it happened so quick you moving back to Ireland. It was interesting to see how relaxed and happy you looked by the end of your quarantine. And lots of lovely home cooked meals obviously helped 😋

So glad to see you again, I was really worried about you. Very sensible to go home to Ireland as New York is definitely not the place to be at the moment. Like you I am quite enjoying my time at home, doing lots of sorting and organising and not worrying about having to be anywhere. Enjoy your time with your family and stay safe.

I'm glad to know you're safe and sound. My son who lives in New York could not leave after his roommate tested positive for COVID-19. I'm so worried about him and I was worried about you as well. I have been sending him care packages since he is unable to leave his apartment. After testing positive, his roommate and her boyfriend (who also tested positive) both left the apartment in hopes that my son will not contract the virus. I talk to him everyday! Before COVID-19 erupted our lives, my son and I did more texting than phone calls; since this pandemic has been going on (and as I explained to him), mom needs to hear his voice so that I can keep myself assured he is ok; normally if he replied to my routine texts, "hey son, how are you doing"? He would reply, "hi mom, I'm doing good"... telling me through text what every parent wants to hear so we will not worry. I hope I will see him soon. My heart hurt because sometime, I feel like he is scared because he is alone there now. My prayer, "God, its me, standing in need of prayer. Give your angels charge over my son, protect him and this entire world. Please watch over my child and bring us together again soon". Take care Louise and stay safe... Greetings from Texas...

My sons are called Elliot and Finlay and we had a business awhile back that we called after both of them - Elfin, also we lived in Oz for a few years and bought a private reg with Elfin on it, it means magical!! Hi Louise, can you discuss how you transported your dog and your experience? I’m trying to move to the US next year and taking my cats with me is a big concern, because I read that pets can react badly to flights. Did your dog go on the plane with you or in the cargo hold? What happens when you arrive at both airports with the dog? I’ve so many questions, if you can discuss your experience and how you did it, it would be so helpful for me!! Thanks!
