Man! I would love to do this with someone! I just recently got back into pool after 20 years and my love for the game is just intense! I play 2-3 times a week but wish my game was better! I love this video! I’ve watched it twice now and on my third time. Just wish I had a table at home so I could follow along with it. Anyway thank you!

I played for 15 years and I just started playing again after 20 year hiatus (Family, kids, etc.) . I was hanging out a bowling alley with my wife/kids playing pool in St George recently. I'm having to relearn how I approach each shot now and just like this gent, as I relied on spin and shooting too hard, I never used the rails much either. I'm really enjoying Tor's videos and looking forward to putting these methods to use. I live in SLC and may think about visiting St George again, this time for some face-to-face training.

Trying to unlearn using English on every shot by myself has been really difficult.

This is the same problem I have right now. Learned how to make balls, then you start learning about getting shape, then you skip straight to using english. Except I never learned where the cue ball is going to go without using English. It's hard, I'm so used to using english to help swing the cueball around the table. I like to think its kinda like golf, its not about who can make the furthest drive, if your basic golf swing or short game isn't good you will never be consistent. You need to be able to make simple shape shots consistently in pool.

I bought the videos on Tor's site with the same training I'm trying to follow the 14 days experiment: • Stroke drills (1 day) • Ball pocketing (3 days) • Half table patterns (3 days) • Full table patterns (6 days) • Kicking and Banking (1 day) I'm currently level 2 on 9 ball APA but I have only around 2-3 hours after work to practice so it's going to take more than 14 days I'm on the ball pocketing part now...hope this training works...

Joshua cracks me up. At the beginning of the video he says he and his wife and daughter live pay check to pay check. That they are always broke. And he wanted to win tournaments. Later in the video they show him at a tattoo place getting yet another tattoo.. If he is always broke. How can he afford more tattoos? .These things are not cheap. I have tattoos and know this. Just curious. Great video never the less. Thank you Tor for putting these up.

Lisa, his wife, did say that they have saved money so they could participate in 14 Days. Also, the tattoo artist could have been a friend/fellow pool player and did the tattoo for free as a way of advertising his business. Many tattoo artists do that. That’s one of the beautiful things about the pool community. You meet someone from any and all walks of life 💕
