I love how you showcase each book on the white background with a sound effect and then next to the stems in water. Very original ❤.

Incredible! I’ve either already read your recommendations or they are on my TBR! All except the Spanish translation since i am in USA. Very glad to have found your channel.

I like and agree and do what you do with authors -- start with not the one with the reputation for being his/her best - but one that is also highly thought of and maybe the favorite of someone I respect..It's great to find someone who also does this. We want the journey with a new author to be a long one and one that maybe goes on a rise as we go along and we're curious what his/her range is.

I really enjoyed your recommendations! I will be adding to my tbr for sure. I read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and it became one of my favorite books of all time. It truly transported me into another world and I didn't want it to end. Such a fun reading experience. I highly recommend it. 😊

I just discovered you.Yay! YOU'RE AWESOME! I love your personality. You're honest, and it's obvious that you truly delve into the stories. Humans is going on my TBR list. The Fifth Season is waiting on my shelf for me. I would love to know if you could recommend some translated fiction. Books that few mention that have flown below the radar have been some of my favorite reads. Thank you 😊😊

I read The Secret History from your list and I absolutely loved it. I might say it's one of the best books I've read in the recent years. I'm currently reading Jane Eyre and it's perfect for this season. I also live in a country where up until recently it was very hot. But a few days ago it started to get cold and to rain a lot which makes it perfect to just curl up under a blanket and read this book.

Love your recommendations…and the cozy vibe of your video! I’ve added a few to my list now…loved The Night Circus and one of my favorites is The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, so I can’t wait to read Starless Sea and Darker Shade of Magic. Have you read any Alice Hoffman? She is magnificent….excellent time of year for her too! I did not like Eat Pray Love but realize I’m in the minority there, but I should give another book of hers a try. Shadow of the Wind was brilliant….its been ages since I read it, but I adored it almost as much as The Book Thief (up there as a favorite of all time). The stars aligned on that one. On another note, I’m visiting Barcelona in November for the first time…I’d love the name of the bookstore you mentioned. ❤

I just stumbled across your channel--don't worry, your English is excellent and your accent is lovely to listen to! I'm so glad to see someone recommending Carlos Ruiz Zafón, he's is one of my all-time favorite authors and his work does not get enough hype.

I really loved this video. Your voice is so nice to listen to! And we have so much of our reading taste in common!! I really hope you enjoy Starless Sea. I read it last year for the first time and it became my favorite book of all time 💜 Looking forward to more videos from you in the futute!

Thank you for all the recommendations. When I find an author I like, I often devour their entire catalog. So far, I have done that with only John Steinbeck. I am close to doing that with Ernest Hemingway, Haruki Murakami, and Stephen King. Authors that I have read one book and have the rest on my shelf are Cormac McCarthy, James Joyce, Aldous Huxley, and Philip K Dick. Unfortunately, there isn't a female author on this list, but I have enjoyed Nora Ephron, Joan Didion, Susana Clarke, Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, and J.K. Rowling.

Yes! I second this. I just recently moved to Barcelona and would love some recommendations for Spanish/catalunian writers and novels. 😊

I loved Humans. Btw the author's surname is pronounced with a hard 'g' 😊

I love Ruiz Zafon! I also really like V.E. Schwab. I am going to try the Seneca book and Marina that you mentioned- thank you! Piranisi was really good. I hope you like it! I have Lady Macbeth on my TBR. It is supposed to be a reimagined backstory of the character and how she ended up being a villain. I would like to try to read in Spanish but might need something shorter since I am not very advanced. 😅 Any suggestions of where to start?
