I remember watching him on American TV with Focus back in the 70s. He's only gotten better. One of my biggest guitar heroes ever, up there with Frank Marino, John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola. One of the greatest.

I have always heard that Jan was a great guitarist. Admittedly I think Hocus Pocus is one of the worst songs ever recorded. But, about two months ago I looked into Jan beyond that and found that he is truly phenomenal. Fantastic tone.
