#14 Moonlit geomancy and sun soaked herbs

How's your summer going? This past month has been full of interesting experiences as I’m learning to be more mindful and attentive to my surroundings. I had the joy of visiting the sea and welcoming the June full moon on the beach with my own rendition of the Orphic hymn to Selene.
June is a special month, with the Summer Solstice marking the time when herbs are believed to have the most potent magical power. It's usually when I gather most of my herbal ingredients and it's also the time when I use fresh herbs the most.
