Tip for if anyone gets a “bad visitor”(8:49): put your switch to sleep. It will kick them off and it’ll restart your island back to before they came by. Do not tolerate assholes just because “it’s a game”. If they do not give you common courtesy you do not owe them anything.

10:39 you probably didn't know this, but you can't wear out the letter on the A button because the letter is actually white plastic that's been extruded all the way through the button

I'm probably "The Fisherman" Literally all of my gameplay is fish, fish and fish. I love fishing as it's really calming, I save sharks and sell fish I already have. I'll go around my island always to find new fish and sharks, and if it's sea bass, I shrug it off and sell it. I go through about 7 fishing rods a day, and once I'm done, I log off. I have a fishing problem. I've caught about 5k fish.

I started rounding out some of the water edges to be a little nicer. I built a new flea market that 'needed' to be thid perfect large rectangle, but in order to do that I would have to cut through a river. Thus, I gave up and just moved the river. All I am saying is that you should be proud of your perseverance to keep that one part of the island natural.

You forgot another group of players that I have encountered: the legit hackers. They use outside software to create items that aren't currently suppose to be in game, and they then sometimes sell/give these things away to other people on the internet. Fortunately, they are quite rare, so it is quite unlikely that you will find one (I found one at a swap meet, and the hacked item was named with Japanese syllables, a curious thing for playing in English, so do keep an eye out for this as a red flag for any hacked items you find.)

I’m a picture person, picture people go to Harv’s islands to dress up their characters, make party’s and rooms, and start dancing or role playing with your villagers. (They also get posters of their favorite villagers) That’s what I do everyday when I’m done with chores and such 😌❤️

I'd probably add another type: The Role player. They still try to be like the utopian, but have a special connection with each of their villagers and shed actual tears when one moves. They go into the Able Sister's shop just to see if a villager is in there looking at an item so they can buy it for them. They refuse to change any of the og catchphrases and couldn't care less about collecting Raymond or Maple. The first 10 villagers they have are their squad and they've been through everything together

My friends all don’t understand how I spend so many hours trying to make my island look like a city but they just don’t understand the amount of SATISFACTION I get when I log on and see my hard work being paid off. Not necessarily. Your island doesn’t have to look remotely nice to get a 5 star island if you know how to work the points system. I was annoyed that no matter what I did I couldn’t break the 4 star rank until I found out that if you have enough mannequins it can improve your island score. I now have a small corner of my island with like, 15 mannequins placed to get that 5 star island because I wanted a golden watering can and lilies of the valley (The funny thing is I learned the mannequin thing on a completely unrelated video that showed you how to manipulate the rocks on your island to spawn in certain areas. People in the comments were talking about how the meticulously placed mannequins gave them 5 star islands)

The Accuser They accuse you of doing something that you didn't do. I was playing and went to an online island to buy items from Nook's Cranny and Able Sisters. When I first joined I asked everyone that was on the island if they needed fruit because I brought them from my island. Their were two people in the front accepting tips (I gave them 10k). I was buying from the stores and asking people if they wanted some fruit, but I could see one of the people at the front chatting, "Please leave [MyCharacterName] or I will report" and the other ran up to me, used the angry reaction, and said I stole their fruit. They explained that they went to their tree garden, and all the fruit was gone. They ACCUSED me of stealing their fruit and demanded me to return it and leave their island. I just left because I didn't want anymore trouble, I have a feeling they reported me. It was MY fruit, though! I wasn't gonna give it back! It might've seemed suspicious that I was selling fruit to people, but how could they accuse me if they have no proof?! Then again, did someone really steal their fruit, or were they just looking for trouble?
