Theres three options at this event. Either you miss your shot and the guy acts as if he caught the bullet. You can also shoot him somewhere and hell get hurt and say he doesnt have teeth there. Or you can just shoot him in the face and he dies, and I believe he just gets carried off stage and the show goes on

This is why I say that Rockstar fans are taking this game for granted. It took them like 5 years to make this while also making sure GTA Online gets a lot of update yet fans still complain they ain't getting GTA 6 soon. Do You think making games is as fun as playing them? Not even close. Game dev can sometimes be fun but that's just sometimes. Usually, you want to pull your hair cuz making some cool and fast algorithms for various cool gameplay features is not that easy and fun actually. :) Things get very messy as the project grows. Red Dead Redemption is a huge project costing more than half a billion dollars to make. That's insane.

It's already been said a million times, but gosh this game has depth. I remember a 'dream-like' state when I first roamed and randomly came across that notorious 'pig farm' couple. I was curious and even followed the 'wife' upstairs as she was getting changed (I feel like a creep saying that!), but then as that whole scene unfolded I just felt utterly entranced by the whole production behind it all. The resources Rockstar had thrown into scenes like that one, the characters, the reveal about their relationship and their parents and of course the linkage to the scene shown in this video (!), wow, what an amazing illustration of the depth of RDR2.

I think if they did an RDR3 it would be with Jack Marston. He was an innocent kid but turned outlaw down the path of his father, by killing his father's killer. Thus making Johns's sacrifice in the first game meaningless. That could be an interesting story and would provide some redemption as Jack looks for stability, avoids the law, and meaning to a life he claims no longer has anything to live for.

Two of my favourite moments, and there are a lot, are Arthur's face when the couple at Aberdeen pig farm reveal they have incestuous relations, and when you put on the trapper's hat after knocking it off in a fist fight with him at the saloon in Valentine. When you start playing poker after that event the trapper just stands behind Arthur in a menacing fashion. While playing Arthur is constantly looking over his shoulder at the menacing trapper. It's hilarious.

These kinds of games cost masses of time and money and most people arent interested in investing that. But luckily people are researching ways to make grander games less work intensive. @@aveteranplayer6403 Why do you think that? The core team that made RDR2 is seemingly returning. It really is a masterpiece. I think probably the most detailed game of all time by far. I just learned in Chapter 2 Mrs Downes will visit the camp after you beat up her husband. 3-4 play through I never saw it. So many things, even this video I bet there’s much more.

@@Aryon1969 You might have an encounter where she shows up at the gangs camp. I never saw it happen i don’t know what might trigger her coming by. Maybe just random luck if it happens.

Never seen it myself in as many plays. I was in the middle of playing it a 5th on PS plus and they removed it, and I had it downloaded n all, so it wasn't only a stream. Getting sick of them doing that as I'm in the middle of playing the game, they did it aswell with all 3 of the Mafia series and the Batman Arkham Asylum and City

7:46 Arthur shoot once, then 4 times so then there is one bullet left, just in case. This detail is a masterpiece

When they announced RDR2, I couldn’t imagine how they could follow up from the first game. John Marston was such an amazing character, they couldn’t do it. Well, Arthur Morgan showed me how wrong I was…

Everyone thought the same as you. John was hard to beat, and while Arthur doesn't necessarily beat him, he enhances and elevates John's character and manages to be compelling on his own.

When I found out about the hat I could never bring myself to change it, even when it didn't match Arthur's outfit😂 I kept it on the entire game

10:44 I saw this as well in my play through and decided that right then was the perfect time to end it. It brought a tear to my eye and felt like the best way to end my time with the game. I’ll come back again once I play RDR for the first time, even though I know how it ends.
