@@adrianferenc12 Yo The best way to farm uniques is on the 3 rd Spot (-157 / 601) Fishing between 9 p.m & 10 p.m (in the peak) Large Minnows and #5/0 + 50cm. I switch after every unique.

Thanks! Very interesting. I'm way behind everyone and only recently got into this game, bought the Congo boat pack and have absolutely no regrets. The pack has no spinning equipment though, and to date, most of my fish here have been on the bottom rig provided. I have also not hooked too many on the match setup also included in the package. It therefore amazes that you appear to be very successful with a match setup. Also, how are you landing all of these unique specimens on 6kg tackle? The 38kg gear from the DLC pack seems to be essential when fighting these bigger fish..

He casts very close to the boat so when the float goes under he just lifts and reels and it's already to the point where it lifts the fish out of the water. You can catch anything on your match rod. Large minnows are great. Most fish bite at 40 inches deep. But lures are the way to go. Get high enough level to buy a big spinning or casting rod or if you can get a dlc with one. Then use ribbed shad. You can catch 6 to 10 unique Nile perch per hour and then you'll hit max level very fast.

Or you might want to wait for the ocean update to spend anymore money. You could get a pond pass or even the dlc boat pack when it comes out then be catching 1000lb bluefin tuna and marlin. Then level up even faster than if you was catching the Nile perch. But for now focus on the Nile perch and tigerfish.

@@EliteNugz Hmmm... Figured as much regarding casting close. Ended up maxing level within the 30 day after getting Congo pack though, so that was a great investment.. Also waiting for this update. Do you know when this is due?

@@bradparker6156 the developer said either the end of December or sometime in January. They're still working out some minor issues. The level cap is going to also be increased again and he said the ocean will either require level 85 or 90. Up until now I've never bought a pass or dlc. Did it all by endlessly grinding but this time I'm getting the dlc for two reasons. One because there's no boat you can buy with in game money. There's a huge dlc boat and a smaller one you can rent. And I'm guessing the dlc boat will have a bigger capacity livewell because keepnets aren't used in the ocean. And two because I want to be in the first ocean competitions so the other guys don't get the advantage of knowing how to win the competitions before me. A fair playing field will be nice even if it's just for a little while. I really can't wait. Giant bluefin tuna. Striped marlin and huge grouper. Maui Maui on top water. That's going to be sweet. And a few thousand pounds of livewell capacity that you can fill up with just a few unique fish. Plus the fact two people can share a boat is awesome. Only down side is when you take a friend out on your boat you both share the livewell so you can only make half as much per day. But I've got 28 million bucks so I'm not concerned with that to much. But how great would it be to win the very first marlin or tuna competition. Cheers bro and tight lines. 🐟 🌍

I had the same idea, but, while trying, I couldn't get the right rotation. I could only catch 5 max in a single day and would say it was luck, because I couldn't do it again, like it's random, or maybe something escapes me
