I hear ya. In my teen years back in the 80s, all I ever heard from adults is, "Heavy Metal is devil worshiper music". My son went to a Lutheran high school. His school books were digital, requiring parents to buy or rent them from the school. That was 10 years ago. I imagine more schools have this requirement. Blaming the parents isn't so cut and dry.
