Tucson is also home to several very good amateur, semi-professional and performing large music ensembles, which give concerts throughout the year, many of which are free to the public. In addition to the Tucson Symphony, concerts are put on by three other community symphony orchestras, plus three wind groups. There is also a live jazz all year long, and the Tucson Jazz Festival, runs through January of each year.
