14 THINGS TO DO IN YORK

Within the county of North Yorkshire, York is a city rich with English history and culture. One of the highlights in the city of York is the Shambles, a medieval street with slanted houses and cobbled streets, said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter. Despite feeling like a place frozen in time, York is alive with things to do with excellent shopping, bars and restaurants. We spend one night in York which is just not enough to squeeze everything in but I quickly racked up a list of things to do in this incredible city.

Go to the Swan pub on Bishops Gate Street well kept beer good atmosphere and the vinery at the back is great to sit in and enjoy a cold beer 🍺 I always go there every time I visit York.😃👍
