I think the main reason why they went away with the tired animations in general is because they interrupted the flow of the match, and they've opted to try to keep it more up-paced and active.

2K15 also had some ragdoll physics can lead to some hilarious and unique sells to spice things up

Sorry about the WWE 2K24 lost the feature of the Chain Wrestling or Other Features that they use to have. But thank you for sharing with us. I will try to fix it by Finding the Move called Side Headlock Takedown, Dragon Sleeper, and more as the Standing grapples, Submission, and etc.
