5:29 That is not jeera/cumin. Those are fennel seeds. Some like them and some don’t. Depends of how they are served and how moist/dry they are. They are meant to be a mouth freshener after the strong spices that have been consumed for the meal.

India suffered thousands of years of destruction and division by Muslims and British. Five thousand years of continues civilization still exists side by side as old Delhi and New Delhi. India does not believe in covering things like in the west. From death to birth everything is happening right before your eyes as it’s. Some get cultural shock and never go back. Most come back year after year and still can’t get enough. India is the spiritual capital of the world. All Dharmic religions started here. Visiting India could be life altering experience. India is the world itself complete with diverse cultures and geography. India is the cradle of civilization-Mark Twain.

- Restaurants offer fennel seeds and not cumin seeds for mouth freshener. Cumin is rarely if ever consumed raw. - Women are bound indoors by their household duties and their concern for security. - Cows rome on the streets predominantly in states where cow slaughter is banned. In muslim dominated areas cows are pretty much entirely absent from the landscape barring the slaughter houses. - In India holding hands and shoulder hugging are not seen as gestures of lust no matter the gender while kissing is. 🥂

Marriage usually are a matter of prestige when it's arranged Marriage...than families will go all in coz it's matter of pride for elders in front of society community n relatives... But things are changing.... Marriage brokers are very rare , but their are many matrimonial sites....as u now their still exists caste system when it comes to Marriage....hence brokers, websites n relatives come into play during searching n finding right partners

It is as simple that if I as an Indian just label whole Europe as one Country and generalise all of them. We Indians also generalise all Foreigners white People as Britishers😂😂😂 All black people as Africans😂😂😂. Funny Though 😅
@avtaar5144Ай бұрын
My point of view - India is so vast that visiting only 1% of the area and making assumptions about the whole country is misleading. While there are more women visible in rural (beautiful eastern areas) and urban areas working in various time slots and participating in nightlife, in developing areas, you often see more men as shopkeepers, sellers, and rickshaw drivers. This is because younger women tend to prefer office-based jobs."

about the MEN , men in indian society tend to be more yk socially active , they would hang out at the street corner , roam around , typically indian women , the middle aged women hangout near their homes or in their homes , whereas young indians you can find them anywhere , younger gen is always out and about

Marriage Broker Because in India Arrange Marriage is very Common and we are not allowed to married with Same gene women means which whom we share long ancestors so that genetic diseases don't evolve in future generations. In India we have Gotra System (So, Same Gotra People can not marry with each other it is highly ignored) But nowadays it happens some times due to love marriage but parents always avoid these type of relationship and don't give approval because we are like relative and share some sorts of Common gene (it is almost from 3000-4000 year old tradition we were always Scientific as a religion and understanding about our environment very well

6:38 next time please note time of day. Women in Bharat are very family oriented. So mealtimes, school runs, evenings with family are the culture. You will see women out when it is not mealtimes and kids are at school. Also because of the heat and volume of people - it is my personal preference to go out as early in the morning as possible or after dark when it is cooler

Marriage Broker is essentially a 'Match Maker' in Hindu Arranged Marriages. A Match maker will be entrusted with comparing horoscopes (determined by the date and time of birth) of the bride versus bridegroom, to determine if the Stars (in the Horoscope Map) for each individual are compatible. Some Stars conflict each other and foretell a disastrous marriage or plain incompatibility of character, or conflicting inborn traits in bride and bridegroom. A few Horoscope may also predict happiness and the bearing of children in the marriage.

There is a scientific reason behind eating with hands. Actually, electricity is very high on our finger tips and when we touch or mix the foods by hand, it gets charged well and helps in digestion. One funny incident happened when Swami Vivekananda was studying in USA. His professor was making a joke about eating with hands. He said why do you Indians eat with your hands? Vivekananda replied, " Because no one used my hands before". The professor felt humiliated. 😂😂

Bharat is NOT a hyper-sexualised society. There used to be A LOT more self awareness. Sadly, western sexualisation is very much on the rise now. Especially in the metro cities. Less so in Tier 2-3 cities and villages. Westerners very quickly and easily make everything sexual in some way, shape or form.

Each state of of India has its own language, dress & culture, Gods & Goddesses (some are universal like Shiva, Ganesha, Vishnu, Garuda etc) , favorite or commonly eaten food, method of eating (we use spoons but not fork when I eat outside I use them, it's quicker than hands, except when need to tear a chapathi / wheat pancake ! ) that's what this foreigner didn't understand! Just like each "country" in Europe has! Yet similarity exists between the States. Like cow culture etc Where are the women? They don't wander or waste time like the men but keep food ready and take care of their families! Women have a lot of work to do in home unlike men!
@gopakumarcoratyl9376Ай бұрын
A bit of exaggeration in most of the wacky things. This is a diverse country and things vary from place to place. So, you can't generalise!
@Warlords_Of_DraenorАй бұрын
Most of these western tourist come to India and just visit southern states and generalise entire country. This mainly happens coz compared to North south Indians have more English speakers (south Indians still have a colonial hangover and have a fetish for their colonial masters). This makes these western tourist have a comfort zone due to language.

4:10 So it goes like this: In public a man can be close to a man and no one will care. Similarly a woman can be close to a woman and playful with a woman and no one will care. But display of affection in public between a man and a woman is not supported or appreciated. It's related to the dignity of a person that he/she behaves in public while interacting with other gender. Nowadays, in cities you won't find this being followed very strictly but still people of honour and dignity always follow this so that no one can talk bad about them. India being a very cultural and social society, public opinion and acceptance is very important.
