This is how you arrive at a projected height, add up the heights of the parents (in inches), and then divide the number by 2 then add 2.5 inches to this number to get the predicted height. At 14, if his height was measured correctly, sure he could possibly grow 3 inches or more before he turns 18. Remember, Kai at 13 was already 6-9 and grew to 7-2 and now at 18 years old. But the difference is, his parents genes are way taller than your average pinoy. So depende talaga. And I agree with Eugene Dalisay, train this kid to play 1 or 2, a long term project but with hard work and perseverance he can succeed, it’s all up to him.
