Josh would low key be really good if he could hit a second serve

Or more than 2 balls in court 🤣 On his day he's super tough to play against!

Just wanted to congratulate Josh for being such a great sport with these fun videos. I’m sure that when he has to play a full on game-face match, he knows how to slow it down appropriately to reduce the UEs. However, the point of these videos is to have some laughs and entertain the viewers, so he plays a free-hitting all out attacking game. No one really wants to watch a tie break with a whole lot of pushing, though that is probably the highest percentage approach for most club players.

I love Josh. What a great sport to put himself in these situations. He perfectly acts out every tennis player's frustrations. Come on Josh, we are pulling for you, Mate. (P.S. add a little topspin on that second).

Fun series to watch. I see so many elements of my game when I watch these. Josh's serve started to go off at the same time his leg drive did. He wasn't pushing up and into the ball.

That's the nature of tennis. the same day you pull off an atp level tweener and win the point, you also hit that monstrosity at the net that most beginners could've figured out. And it's all on camera.

Josh has great humor. Very relatable mindset - coming from a tennis player & teaching pro myself. Needs to let the ball come down on the 2nd serve. Elbow is a little close on the forehand too, but I’m sure it’s been fixed since this video is a year old. Not trying to be annoying, just an observation :-)

It looks like Josh is playing a teenage version of himself. They could be brothers. Fun match.

Its also stupidest splits I’ve ever seen - he just lands on wide stance while people are actually doing splits to place one leg under their body to sprint into desired direction

In other matches Josh’s serve was brilliant first serve after first big serve this was totally different maybe before he sorted his serve out. Entertaining but Josh not on his usual form.

Josh slaps at the ball too much. Nice first serve, but almost everything else is UE waiting to happen.

That said it's very tough to play against when he's making balls, he hits a super heavy ball!
@petershort9362 жыл бұрын
@@allthingstennis Oh for sure. You can see his game in a few of those points. Very serve +1 or +2 game. He's a big strong guy and the ball jumps when he hits it right. I'm just remarking on the stroke technique. The arm is loose but not quite under control.

On a serious note, you should try monk mode, you mentioned in a crude way about sex, that's a slang word that isn't nice, the higher you retain, the sharper your level is, look at Novak Djokovic, that man always has a magic way out, he probably done like 10 years monk mode or something, or he wouldn't be winning so many tight matches and getting the blessings of victory all the time, relative to his opponent, I must say, I'm a proud 41 year old virgin, and hope to live another 60 years in virgin mode!
