You can ignore the ult reduction mechanic and still get a buff up by using witch's at ~29/30 Zhorak/ at 30.4/30 (his IB buff will go up) then dps at 30.5/30, i managed 125m damage without shinnah

So are you using fru, gerthin, bleddyn, nord, zhorak? I’m using that and only getting about 80. Have WR. Zhorak not scrolled. Even managed to get gerthin CD to 15 w skill haste.

Zhorak over Nord will get you around 150-160m. You can use Nord on multiple other teams. He's just a good hero anyways.

So are you not worrying about getting a buff up before the boss ult because you spend your ult energy before he hits so then he’s effectively knocking back your ult bar from zero to zero?
