It is pricey but it is really really good - download a free trial if you want to check it out. If it doesn't work for you there are plenty of free solutions out there too.

I am trying to use OpenBuilds Control with my 1419 CNC but I can't move the motors with the software. Any idea why? It is also telling me that my Grbl 0.9j is out of date and I need to upgrade to Grbl 1.1.
@TheWoodgineer
@TheWoodgineer 2 жыл бұрын
Upgrade - it won't hurt and include lots of nice extra features (some of which you won't use of course but still nice to have)

Those boards on 1310/1419 usually are grbl 0.9 and with lockbit set, so you have to solder AVR chip onto arduino board and use Tl866 HV programmer with adapter to remove lock bit and flash grbl 1.1. Which works fine with Candle2.

Let me guess you were trying to cut stainless with HSS cutters? Yes? Rookie Mistake.

They certainly do! Some of the best engineered (and also some of the worst) tools in the world. Banggood are a brilliant Chinese company to work with too :)

Yes, but just like you could cut down a tree with a pocket knife there are better tools for the job.
