This is one of your best! The colors are amazing! I love the areas of white as you get a division of the leaves! I miss the colors of fall that we had in South Dakota. We had a cemetery across the street from us in SD and they had a line of trees I could capture with my big camera when it was fall, they had red, orange, yellow and several colors of green. It was amazingly!

The maple leaf is gorgeous, and would make great presents for Thanksgiving. Even using reds and greens for Christmas would be a wonderful gift. This is the coolest fall leaf I've ever seen 😍 I have to say you had me worried when you left so much paint on there cuz I could still see movement but it dried beautifully and great job on the multi blooms I know first hand how hard those are to pull off you literally have to make tiny puddles in order not to lose everything buy you didn't lose much at all it just came out great and that shape is a hard canvas to work on so that truly shows how skilled you are at what you do and I could tell you were truly enjoying yourself and at the end of the day that's what it's all about!! Beautiful color combo I just love that pourage possy color I'm gonna have to rewatch so I can write that color down it's stunning

It’s funny though once it dried it’s perfectly flat, so weird but I’m going to keep that in mind maybe after gesso but before painting on next time I’ll try that 🤗🎃🍁💜

It does look a little psychedelic doesn’t it, there’s a depth to the middle bloom, it may suck you in 😃. I’ll admit I was pretty nervous with the multiple blooms as I’ve only done one maybe two and I just don’t know what to do with them to connect them well. Karen at waterfall acrylics does multiples all the time (although I’m not sure even she’s done one with 6!!) on large canvases (and many other substrates too) and I just watch in awe. 😯😯😯😳 She usually blows them out with a hairdryer though….probably because you’d surely pass out if you had to move all that paint around with your mouth!!!!🤪🤪.

@@debramead3567 Well thank you :) .. Karen is so good at them and she's a master with the hairdryer .. I still need practice with mine I just feel like I can control the air better with my mouth but you are right as I go bigger I'll need to bring out my hairdryer again or risk passing out haha! :D

Beautiful palette & composition Jodie! I got a few of those cut outs myself. Pumpkins & acorns & a couple picture frames. Fingers crossed they turn out well. Did you bother to prime it?

Thank you so much Latoya! I did prime this leaf as well as the pumpkin I did a couple videos back. They are so thin I felt they needed it and they held up well. The leaf did bow a little after being primed, I tried to capture that in this video towards the beginning but after I bloomed on it and it dried it went back to being flat, go figure haha! When I do the flyover of the wet piece before coming back with the dried piece is where it sits until it’s dry to the touch. So basically the counter in my studio 😊. Then I move it over to a drying rack on the other room. Someone else has requested a quick tour of my studio so I’ll add the drying racks in when I film it if that helps 🤗

Thank you so much John 🤗. I usually let my pieces sit on the drying rack about four weeks before I varnish or resin them. Your environment will play a role as well as the size of the piece as to if it may need a bit longer. If you’re in a temp/humidity controlled environment it may take a little less time also depending on the size. I’m not in a temp controlled environment, my basement fluctuates between 67-80F as well as the humidity between 35-49% (I keep a dehumidifier going in summer) and 4 weeks for the size pieces I do (currently up to 11x14) works well but as I go bigger I’ll probably have to adjust the time a bit maybe adding a week. The initial dry from painting I’ll let my pieces sit on the counter in my studio until dry to the touch which is usually about 24 hours but in the summer it can be up to 36 hours before moving over to the drying rack. I can usually have 2-3 pieces sitting on the counter at any one time depending on the size.

Most of that time which I was completely unconscious! When I finally woke up, I thought it was 2004 and that I was 29, (the math is totally off there, I’m 42 so idk what I was thinking or if I was thinkin) that my kids were babies (they r 22, 18 and 13, lol) and I was absolutely CERTAIN that Bill Clinton was President, haha! Anyway… i want u to know that I have learned COUNTLESS things from u! … I’ve been trying (QUITE unsuccessfully) from the MOMENT that blooms and SheleeArt first came out and no matter what I did or who’s recipe I tried… something was just NOT working for me! Countless hundreds of dollars spent and failure after failure… I almost gave up completely and forever… until I found you and ur channel! So… I want u to know that u have been and continue to be a REALLY BIG inspiration for me! The biggest in fact, And I really just don’t quite have the words to describe just how helpful u have and continue to be! Lastly, I have some really important questions for u about CA. I need to somehow make a silver, a gold, and a Payne’s grey CA. If u can help me I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT! I’m making coasters for my neighbors for Xmas this yr and I need the gold for the red and green ones and Silver and Payne’s Grey ones for the Blue ones.

Hi Erin 😃👋🏻, I am so sorry to hear that you were in the ICU and what you went through my gosh that must have been scary! I’m really glad you are on the mend! 💜 I’m also really happy to hear that my channel has been able to help you, truly! I know this technique can be so frustrating, I had such a time with it when I started so I totally get it! For your cell activator if you are using Australian floetrol a lot of paint brands will work well with it. I’ve used Amsterdam gold and it worked well and I’ve just mixed up pebeo precious gold to try. I don’t have a silver but I think most brands will work so give a try whatever you have. For Payne’s gray I’ve tried Liquitex basics and that worked well and I think another one that works well is the atelier interactive. If you are using US floetrol for your CA I have limited experience with the brands but all or most Amsterdam should work. I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else! 🤗💜🤗🎃🍁
