Just a quick note I’m sure many know this but for anyone looking init it - I’ve looked into fostering just to see what the options are. I was told they have a lot of demand for babies but not enough for the youth who are troubled and difficult.. obvs this is a lot to take on, and would require stable patient individuals who have flexible jobs, alternative childcare for their current children, and support systems for many reasons one behind to go to and from meeting/apps frequently. Still highly encourage it if you’re able to while you’re able too. Just something I thought was worth mentioning. Such great content and initiatives as always may Allāh ﷻ make the brothers successful.

I have been to the montenegro trip with ustadh Tim and I have to say, I had a great time. Even though I was a spoilt person, I had some time to ponder upon my actions in that camp. Started to gain weight but was more humble in the sense that I had no entertainment in showing off anymore. Moreover, that camp itself had got me the idea of travelling to my home country (Bangladesh) and really observe what it takes to survive in a third world country. But Masha Allah it opened my eyes to gratitude even more, and Alhamdulilah I started improving in that way.

@@afraas7176 Salam again. There was no contest to join it. My mum found out about this through the kalemah islamic center in dubai, I live in Dubai so during the winter vacation I had nothing to do, so this sufficed haha. We actually travelled to one of the balkan countries from dubai (Montenegro). And its the first time I ever saw snow and skiing. anyways, it was great fun and we would have islamic lectures during the long bus trips from one city to another, in cafes and etc. I was actually surprised that there were halal restaurants and a huge muslim community over there. Even mosques. funny enough after that trip they had another trip planned to Bosnia. But I did not go on that one cause of my GCSE's haha.

Subhan Allah, I think the most useful reminder I was given by another sister, is... your children may go through a stage where they are disinclined to pray [and are trying to keep that hidden from you!] - the sister herself did, but Alhamdulillah, keep sabr, pray to Allah for His guidance to help you and the child[ren], and keep close with your child[ren]. she is now such a ma'sha Allah, practising sister. And as a result of her talking to me, it has enabled me to be gentle with a child who is reluctant [and thinks it is hidden] to have sabr, and to remind in a gentle way.

Jazakallah Khair for this episode. Can you please research th following topic thoroughly and bring someone on th show to discuss it from Islamic point of view. The topic: narcicist parents, scapegoating in families, golden children, dysfunctional families. I have been scapegoated and bullied by my parents and siblings because I didn't want them treating my wife bad. I was kicked out because I visited my aunts/uncles and wanted to unify the extended family, etc. My parents and siblings have all turned against me because they feel like I'm disrespecting them by keeping ties with my extended family. They feel I'm a snitch and that I should never speak up or defend my wife against their abuse. All the Muslim scholars always talk about respecting parents....there must be exceptions. This topic is driving me nuts because no one is addressing it from Islamic perspective so I resort to non Muslim research and it's all anti-parents. Everytime I visit my parents and siblings I get so much stress it lasts for weeks. I don't want to visit and cut all ties with them for my health. Wallahi it's driving me crazy. This is the advice from non Muslim psychologists and experts....to cut ties with them for my own health. I'm one of the youngest but I look older than my 4 older siblings. Please speak about this in one of your episodes.

Why would you even consider the advice of non muslim psychologists when there are muslim psychologists? Instead of cutting ties you can just limit your contact to a certain extent where it still fulfills your responsibility
@uponsunnah6986
@uponsunnah6986 4 жыл бұрын
@@onlyallahisworthyofworship5599 You clearly have not been in this situation and there is no material online from "Muslim" psychologists. I was talking about the research available online and it's all from non Muslim sources and experiences as the Muslims aren't tapping into this topic since it may be considered taboo to talk about it. After all, we're instructed to respect and obey our parents but no one is talking about those exceptions where parents can be detrimental/oppressive/vulguar and outright bad company to be around with. EDIT: * I feel like no one wants to even consider that parents may be wrong/oppressive. * It may seem like they're going against Quran/Sunnah when so many ahadith talk about respecting parents. * It's pretty much copy/paste information and it's sad that our scholars are decreasing by the day. * No one is able to extract and decipher information from the Quran/Sunnah pertaining to this topic of "scapegoating in families." * The katheebs/Imams won't talk about this on the mimbar for obvious reasons. It's a sad state of affairs. When our families are so broken apart - there is no stability - how is the Ummah going to go forward? /end rant.

Assalaamu Alaykum All, when Ustad Tim was speaking about the Netflix series it compelled me to write and mention the “vegetarian” burgers like the Impossible Burger. I suggest after doing research that these products are nefarious and we as Muslims must not just assume that they will be halal. This is weaponized food, we should stay away from the industry as a whole - we don’t need to support these businesses when there is so much good halal fast food available in many of our ethnic shops. Thank you for your program!

Jay Boi great question! Health food advocates call the corporate fast food industry “weaponized” because the effects it has on our health. The whole process is driven by profit, so the ethics of animal welfare and providing wholesome food is not the motivation. ALLAH (SWT) has decreed halal out of love for us, to protect us from so many things - I feel blessed to think I am not permitted to eat food from these establishments. Even before becoming Muslim, I didn’t eat burgers and hot dogs. The red flag about these “veggie” burgers is that they contain lab grown meat that imitate the texture and taste of real meat. So what’s inside - who really knows? Here’s a link to a video and I suggest you read the comments. If non-Muslims are concerned shouldn’t we be more concerned?Eating Halal is a foundation to our spiritual growth, our connection to Our Creator, May ALLAH(SWT) guide and bless you always! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpm1fIKcot6Lr5I

I'm Muslim and I (regretfully) watched the entire Messiah series. Here are my thoughts on the agenda the shows creator(s) are going for. So, they make the Messiah character look like a hero and savior and make him look super popular. Within a matter of days it looks like almost the entire world is following him (including some of the main characters on the show). At the same time, the show leaves hints and makes the viewer question if he's legit or not. Most people who watch the show have the suspicion that he's NOT the hero/savior he portrays himself to be and that everyone else seems to think he is. What this does to the viewer's psychology is makes them think that they are smart/strong enough to see through the deception. They get very confident in themself and I suspect in following seasons their suspicions will be confirmed about the Messiah. Why is this so dangerous? Because when the Dajjal/Antichrist really comes to this world, his deception and tricks will be on ANOTHER LEVEL and nothing like what's seen on the show. People will not even know what hit them and they will follow him (sadly) and in the back of their mind they think they're smart enough to not be tricked since they've been brainwashed by things like this show. Think about it, the show is clearly asking you to think for yourself who the Messiah really is when they're dropping major hints at the same time. They want you to get complacent and think you know what's up but the real thing will be nothing like this.

Like giving kids an alternative...they are watching some silly cartoon or show, instead of simply yelling at them to shut the TV, take them out to the park to play, buy them a bicycle instead of a playstation, if you dont like their friend circle...find them a healthy circle which suits them in their deen n dunya instead of simply grounding them for life..usually most parents only put restrictions without giving any alternatives....which shouldn't be the case
