Hello J.W.! Your comments about Kids playing outside was spot on. Growing up my Parents would say " Go outside and play!" We would drink out of the garden hose. Ride our bikes and play ball in the street. We had 3 T.V. channels and would argue about who had to answer the phone. Great times. I wanted a model 29 most of my life. I Finally bought a 629-4, 4 inch when i was in my fifties. I couldn't be Happier with it. I keep it in a fairly rare Bianchi 16L flap holster. When riding motorcycle in the mountains i carry my 629 in a Home made pancake holster on my hip. That holster carries that revolver so well that i can't even feel that its on me. An unbelievable Gun and holster combination. My holster is very similar to pancake holsters made by Rob Leahy @ " Simply rugged holsters." The Simply rugged holster is what i carry my new Anaconda in. Combined with a wide leather belt. You can wear a heavy revolver all day and hardly know its there. I recommend that combination highly. Best Wishes from Montana! M.H.

I miss the early KZbin days when everything so much more organic and spontaneous. Also, where have all the gun channels gone? I miss a lot of the smaller ones, and seems like the bigger ones have given up or gone to Rumble.

Glad you are getting the enjoyment out of it already, I prefer the bigger grips personally just fit me better. You know it is gonna be a good show when the table is full of blued steel and wood grips

good morning JW ! You are spot on about getting grips ( or holsters, or anything else custom) when you have the chance. Years ago, there was a older woman on Ebay, who sold custom-etched inserts for the rubber grips used on Ruger GP100's. I bought several from her and still love them today, but when I went back about a year later to get another pair for my newly acquired Ruger Alaskan, her site was empty ... I'm guessing she passed away.
