No the map is actually wrong here because all of the white pieces come from the far side and since that pawn was also white it meant it was on the other side and could only attack diagonally backwards unless he just forgot to make it black/brown

I wanted to tell him that so badly. That’s why it seemed one pawn could attack him and the other couldn’t, because pawns could only attack forward and he was running into the knight. Although knights are the hardest pieces to remember in my experience.

- can definitely save time optimizing the Arrow laser room (also who knows if you can skip some arrow turns?) - I'm almost sure there is a faster sequence for the water room - can save time in Chess room with better path (diagonal to the right side Knight) and teleport back after the lever (go left one square into the Rook or into a Knight square) - there MIGHT be a faster room order, who knows . . MY GUESS is, with 99.9% accuracy on optimized path one could probably end with 10 seconds to spare (Henzoid had 7s left). Maaaybe 12 seconds. Would be amazing (since map is 12^2 and all that)

tip for clearing 2 rooms faster: you can beat the water level with 4 moves (righ top, left bottom, left bottom, left top), also you may start the laser while you place the blocks so you can finish the room and get the lever chest after you placed the last block

I think it would have been beneficial to learn the laser room forwards not backwards for the fast run because working it backwards you have to stop and turn around for every arrow you place which is costing time.

That chess puzzle was inconsistent..there were spaces you used that were in line with pieces that could attack you.. 7:19 for example the bishop was two spaces diagonal from you..

Sparklez, the reason that pawn doesn't attack you is because they attack diagonally, but only in front of them, the front seems to be facing the chest, the reason the other pawn "attacked" you was because it was actually the knight getting yah

probably another optimization that henzoid used was instantly using the levers in the 3 chest room - instead of spending a bit of time going over each chest twice, just going over once, picking it up, then placing the lever and unlocking the next chest before moving on

The room with the dispenser giving you items, to save time you're probably meant to press the button, then aim at the right side to drop the item, drop it then go back and click the button again rather than just waiting for the button to reset :)

You can use offhand to swap items around the hotbar mid-run without slowing down. If you want to swap, for example, slots 1 and 8, you press 8-F-1-F-8-F. In your case just 8-F-1-F would be enough, since botf 1 and offhand were empty, but that's the general case. Also, in general, 1-F-8-F-1-F would work as well.

I just finished the map, the puzzles aren't that hard but you have a really tight time to do all of them. Finished it and I only had 32 ticks remaining. I just noticed there was a much easier solution to the chess puzzle :/ (Turns out that one is a glitch) But I got a better one on the water puzzle, only 5 pressure plates :D That was a quick placement, Seems I was slow on placing and activating the levers. 47:17
