figured I'd put it out there, multilock counts cuts from tip to bow of key. & MICS is 1, MACS N/A. could have an A next to a D next to a A but can only have A1 or A2. B1 B2 B3, C2 C3 C4, D3 D4 D5 [inner pin] also interactive pin is almost always cut 4 (from tip) is normally Z0 or Z1.

Yes, it will easily handle interactive pins since they are identical to the other pins. Only the KEY is different. It will NOT do the sliders on some of the more advanced cylinders tho.

It’s so frustrating, the rotar pick is just a dimple pick with a handle and integral tension wrench. And yet, some Mul T locks just won’t lift their skirt, haaa. Picked an E14 a while back, last week, I successfully cracked a C6 that had been in my naughty bucket for 8 years. I decoded it by a digital caliper, then found that the card I had found in the same place as the lock, had the info on it all that time, hahaha. Lastly, I still have a keyless E11, 8 years in the bucket, 100’s of hours, never had any give on the core during picking. I think it might either be mostly A’s or mostly D’s, because it must have an extreme bitting that is just evading normal picking. A D pin, is actually set by the 0.5mm thickness of your pick. Any more and it’ll overset. I will just keep on. Oh, Tried bumping with an interactive key, nope, threw the lock across my bedroom, hahahahaaa🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭🤦♂️❤️❤️❤️

That's a beautiful piece of equipment, nice design. Whoever machined that was talented. Now what about the interactive locks or the ones that also have the dimples along the side of the key for group/master keying? They used group/master keys at a place where I worked, turns out if you took your key to the guy in the machine ship he could add the extra dimples and make a group master key 😂

Is the 206 keyway usable with other keyways? Will it fit in 264 etc?
@fredhenry1015 жыл бұрын
Hey Bill, security question: So I am currently living with a host family in Spain for study abroad. Naturally this means I am interacting with double sided Euro cylinder locks (Thank the heavens I started getting into your and LPLs videos, my key to the front door is cut weird so it doesn't work if I insert it all the way, I have to twist and pull back to get it to open) but they have a feature that I had not anticipated. If you leave the key in the lock, the lock won't turn from the other side, even if the correct key is used. Is this something that would work against a picking attack, or is it just a pain in the neck for me when she forgets to remove it and I have to ring the doorbell to get in?
@ivantolstov64695 жыл бұрын
That is normal for most cylinder locks. If the key is left from the other side, you can't put the key into the keyway to the end. Though it doesn't make picking harder, almost all the same. You won't open this lock with a key from the outside, but you can pick and open it with tools. P.S., stay legal :)
