Yes, one octave higher than a regularly tuned 1st string on a full-scaled guitar. My tips (unsolicited as they may be 😊), make sure your instrument does not exceed the intended scale length. Ensure there are no sharp or rough parts on the saddle or nut (you may need to sand or file any binding joints or edges on a plastic saddle, for example). You can also put some lubricant in the nut slot I have used these strings on my guitalele without issue or breakage, so I can say they work and are suitable. You just may have to prep you instrument first
