From Canada ... I came across your videos and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them. You've allowed people like me, who know next to nothing about horses, into this amazing world. Thank you.

Wow thankyou so much. It was a huge journey I learnt a lot about myself and about how to listen. Never before had i worked with a horse who demanded that I first recognise him and his concerns before I asking for something. He truely is a special animal and now lives with a beautiful couple around the corner from us in Melbourne. :) thanks for watching and thanks for your positive encouraging words.

Meeee too, he is definitely one of the most interesting horses I have ever worked with. Very comunicative and expressive. Taught me to listen and accnowlage before I ask for new things. Something I now use with all of my horses. Thankyou for your comment. :)

Search "Karavale Ginger Schnapps" on Google to see them! :D Hoping to ask my parents if i can go to The Man From Snowy River!

What an amazing job you guys did with Cooper and Wrangler, what are they doing now? Did you keep them?

AM equine- amber has leased Wranges to a Pony club home He is a dream wonder pony, Cooper went to a lovely forever home really close by, he was a little small for me. I get updates from his new home from time to time... Coopers new family also had giant mammoth donkeys. We are so lucky to have had these horses in our lives. XOXO Thankyou for your comment.

5:36 Why are her stirrups so long?
@EquineDevelopment5 жыл бұрын
Super dressage saddle. If they are any shorter legs don't fit in the knee rolls. Has taken a lot of getting used to, especially on little super dooper cooper who makes them look even longer as he is only 14hh.

No no no -- I could never give up a horse, knowing that they are bought and sold so regularly. As they get older and are less valuable they often get treated worse and worse. I'd have a retirement place for horses. I've never understood the horse community and how you can do this -- I know you'll all try to justify this, but I think you are fooling yourselves if you don't think long term for these beautiful animals.

I went into this competition knowing that this challenge would be a last chance for the Brumby that we saved from the wild. I also know that as a horse trainer I do not have the time or funds to keep him forever. My goal was to produce the best horse I could for a new owner, building trust and confidence through education. The brumby association does a great job of screening all the homes who come up they need to be knowledgable and owned horses before. Cooper has gone on to a wonderful home, bringing endless joy to an older rider who used to start her own horses and donkys but no longer has the energy and confidence due to her health. They ride out together and just enjoy each others company. Such a wonderful ending. Exactly the same as the last brumby story with Sansa the wild brumby who went onto be a little girls best friend for life. When. I start horses I always start with their end in mind. The best gift you can give a horse is a good understanding of how to communicate with humans in a humaised world.

@@EquineDevelopment how many horses do you own
@EquineDevelopment5 жыл бұрын
@@emilylipsitz I personally own 3. I part own 2 of the FEI horses I compete so that I have a say in where they go and what they do. I AM VERY LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH SO MANY HORSES AND THEIR OWNERS EACH AND EVERY DAY. Sooo many horses in my life feels like I have 100s. :)

@@EquineDevelopment will you get anymore horses or a horse
@EquineDevelopment5 жыл бұрын
@@emilylipsitz we certainly are not actively looking for any more. Sometimes my students really want their own horses and I do sell or lease my older horses to kids so that they can have a safe horse to learn on. Maybe once the horse I have mature I might need some more but for now I have all that I need.
