I remember opening some of these decks back in the day, what a feeling

Was definitely a great feeling to open. Tough to find them nowadays, but yes, couldn’t beat a tournament deck or starter deck from the older sets in the late 90s. 🍻

Cool tournament deck u boxing...you said there are 16 cards in ursa saga that are in RESERVED LIST..can you or anyone here tell me what does it mean "reserve list"..thanks and appreciate it..

Yes, great question. Back in the early days of Magic, there were a lot of powerful cards printed which quickly sold out in Alpha, Beta, and Unlimited. Stay tuned for these. As more sets were released, cards continued to be reprinted, resulting in a loss of value for many of the editions. WOTC came along and created a Reserve List, which when a card was placed on it, would not be reprinted with the same card affects. If you search reserve list MTG, there’s more explanation about it and WOTCs policy, along with a complete list of cards which are on the list. Many of the games most powerful and iconic cards fell into the reserve list, such as the Power 9 and Dual Lands. Vintage Magic cards for the most part command a premium, partially do to this fact. Cards released after the Urza’s Block are not to be included on the reserve list, so you see a lot of reprints of modern cards. I suspect that WOTC is releasing the collet edition cards in recent sets to create a psuedo reserve list, as many of these cards have not been reprinted, thus keeping the secondary market high. Hope this helps! Cheers 🍻
