I was there when a major pipeline construction company thought they could use one of those in the hard granite of northern New Jersey. Good for footage but terrible safety as far as benching and sloping the sides for depth and not moving the dirt far enough from the trench it self excavator better choice would not put a employee in an unsafe trench and trenches suck have my reasons
