Those shrubs came out easier than I thought they would! Nice work Darin👊🏻

I have removed the same type of bush before and struggled with the root system but these weren't rooted deeply at all. The thumb is a big help in ripping them apart.

That little backhoe is quite impressive. If that was my house I wouldn't put any trees or evergreens around that porch. I would either use rocks or mulch and plant some flowers. Stay safe my friend

I agree with you on the simple landscaping. It is easier to maintain and I think it even looks better. That little backhoe impresses me each time I use it. I am surprised what can be done with it.

Great video of using the backhoe!! It can make quick work of removing bushes. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

For a relatively small machine, it does really well. I wish it had a little more lifting ability but that said, it isn't that bad.

Backhoe is an awesome attachment for that tractor! Nice work. I hope Dallas had fun at Prom!

Great work. A mini excavator would’ve done a great job too. But like everything, each machine has its limitations. It’s up to the operator to learn them and then to use the machine more efficiently. The advantage of your tractor was that the lawn shouldn’t have been to disturbed. The minix’s can tear them up quickly without even trying. Great video and thanks for taking us along.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment Chris. You are right that the track machines are damaging to the grass. This backhoe is far from a mini excavator but if you take your time, you can do a lot of work with it.

Nice work, Darren. Love that machine too. I think it looks good without anything, or maybe some small colorful plants. Catch ya on the next one, Kenny

I agree that it looks good with no shrubs in front. All land scraping gets over grown all too quickly.

Obviously this little backhoe is no excavator but the thumb is still handy. I don’t think I would own an excavator without a thumb

The Deere/Backhoe combo made that project a breeze! Great video and nice camera work Darrin👌🏻 I’d go back with Boxwoods, they grow quick and are easy to maintain Take Care, Brandon

Thanks for noticing the camera work, as you know, it takes time to do that. That is a good suggestion on the boxwoods. I will be sure to pass it along. As for the backhoe, it isn’t an excavator but it is way better than a shovel.

I love working (playing 😂) with my backhoe. It’s just a pain installing it because I have to remove all my three point parts… top link, sway arms, top and tilt cylinders, etc. As a result I don’t use it as much as I like to.
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
That does sound like a pain! Mine is fairly easy, I only need to remove the top link and install a bar between the sway arms then back up to it and pick it up. Probably the hardest part is making sure my sway arms are level before lifting it so that the pins slide in easily. BTW, I agree that an hour or two on a backhoe is just play time.

I have removed stuff like that by hand and it is quite a process. The right equipment can make it go quicker and easier.

I bought that hoe and while I don't use it a lot, it is really handy when I need it.

@@woodruffwoods absolutely. Doing it by hand I would have all kinds of saws, garden tools, breaker bars, you name it to pull that mess out of there.

Awesome video Woodruff i see you got your truck back what was the outcome with what happened to it.
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
It was a power steering line that blew. That truck uses ATFas the fluid for the steering. I certainly did not know that.

Nice work them bushes come out better then what thought. You haul your tractor in your dump trailer ?
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
I haul it on my 18 foot landscape trailer. I can haul it in the dump trailer but at 14 feet it is just a bit too short.
