This is my mom's Computer btw. I lived in Hong Kong for 7 years, I joined the National team for wushu for a few months. 2 years ago, my family moved to California and now I train here. Last spring festival, Zhang Yao Wen came and performed in our school. Because of my years of training, I am the best in the school so my family got to meet him. He even signed my sword. I am continuing to train today but I will never forget the experience of meeting Zhang Yao Wen.

Wow that's awesome! Are you in the Bay Area by any chance? That's where I am, and there are a ton of excellent Wushu coaches and athletes in the area. Several of the US Wushu Team members live in the Bay Area too.

No because the higher u put ur difficulties the more score deducted if u fail to execute it

No, not really. As a kid you would lose about 0.5 for that. But in higher levels like this, the judges are really looking for perfection. I think that deduction could have been a little high but with a mistake like that you'll never get over 9.00

His wushu is definitely amazing, unfortunately for him, mistakes like these are really costly in the rulebook. He used his full body for support on that fall, that's at least a 0.3 deduction. His split landing connection was 0.25, which he missed. And he probably didn't get points for the jump at all, which is 0.4. So that's 0.95 in deductions already. He also cut himself with his sword somehow, that's another 0.2 (see his left wrist at kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWPWYZyPeJaciqc)

I mean, he did get 9.71 in spear later so I that kinda brought back all the hype. But yeah lol.
