Yeah she lost the G+D connection. 0.2 bonus! Feel sorry to her and hope she can win in Paris. However Qiu also had E+E+F and a potential E+F+D which are incredibly difficult.

Her leg form between swings need to be polished (not just her tbf, most gymnasts save the Chinese who always have their legs locked together). I noticed that over the years leg separations have become an accepted part of gymnastics. If you watch the past Olympics footage (pre-2012), commentators always pick up on leg separations and they used to incur pretty heavy deductions because it was so noticeable. That being said, she has so much potential, and she did so well in AA Final as well! I can't wait to see her in 2024 Paris.

If only she connected the nemour with the pak. In fact, the original routine worth 7.0 d-score only has 2 kip to handstands, the first was in the start as all gymnast do and the last one was right before the dismount series.

not to take anything away from Kaylia she’s incredible ofc, but to be fair to QQY her routine is also super difficult! her pirouetting skills into her release moves may not look tricky but are really really complicated and she does them pretty much flawlessly. It’s just two very different style of routine composition but both are super difficult in their own right
