The problem is that stupid people still buy Upper Deck Overpriced products. Every year, they scam you more and more like the tins by giving you less and less but still charge you more. If people took at stand and boycott UD, upper deck would shake in their boots to put out more reasonable returns than loading their boxes with crap.

Scary to see older products being opened with ink issues. Most likely the cause is how the boxes/cases have been stored. It almost looked like the ink has bled into the rubber

most people feel like that opening these. one or two are cart wheeling from the store after. your just going to have to start breaking cases once a week and get people to buy in based on prices of that year, and even this year.

Zeeree, probably won’t see this but is there a shortage of hockey cards? I can’t find any in local stores. I’m in the USA so that might be the problem but maybe there is a problem in the system. Not sure.

Haha. All we have in Canada is hockey, meanwhile Baseball is tough to get, and basketball is pretty much non-existent.

It’s getting to the point were buying boxes on the value proposition level just isn’t even worth taking the risk anymore. Especially when you factor in the quality control damage issues and the lack of hits. A lot of times you’re just better off buying single cards on eBay, I understand that takes the fun out of it but at what point does blowing ridiculous money start to become a waste and not fun anymore. The gamble this year is way too high to hunt that one guy that’s not even producing that much on his cards could go up or down. I can’t justify buying a a rookie card purely based on just hype which is exactly where we stand at the moment. It’s starting to look like we’re going to see a lot of issues this year in the hobby, I think quality control is just the beginning of that. But hopefully we will start to see things change when some leader stuff comes out like allure.

Trilogy signature pucks were a joke. Every auto is faded and rubs off easily, throughout everyone one I've ever seen. The pucks are plastic and the ink doesn't stick to it.... And this did this for multiple years and never learned! Trilogy a big thumbs down!
