15-19 Sierra and Silverado Rear A/C Vent Upgrade!!

This is just a quick Review and Install video of a great upgrade for the rear seat area. It addresses a fix for the useless airflow that the Heat and A/C system puts out in the back seat area by adding a directional Air Vent Deflector to the Factory ABS Duct.
Update 1-6-21: The guy making these released an updated version that are 1.5" longer than the version featured in my video to extend the airflow out even more from under the seat. I feel that this was a great update to the already great product. The link below is for the newest version!

I just ordered a set of those vent adapter what a stupid design GM came up with funny thing is I have a 2018 Silverado and I never knew that was there I seen them on the floor but I never knew what it was.

But if you kick the seat back, it will cover and shoot it to the bottom of the seat, no? Does it come with an extension tube?

No issues with that per say. But I have been talking with the guy manufacturing them and he’s going to add some additional length onto them as a JIC to make sure they 100% clear the underside of the seat!

Even with these, there is barely any air flow. Cant use my truck in the summer here in Texas when the family wants to come with me. GM should have done something better. Sad, will probably sell my truck due to this.

Thanks for posting this, quick question, for taller peeps; when this is installed and the seats are set fully back on the tracks, does the air flow hit the underside of the seat or flows up and out freely?

Yep. I think some Chinese manufactures saw my ebay sales were 500+ and decided to tool it up. Luckily have improved the design over their knock offs.

Just as an FYI, the rear vents only turn on when the "foot" portion of the airflow is activated on the control console. Yet another stupid aspect of an overall stupid design.
