I just learned the old pockman method! Its so difficult to memorize everything. I find i can memorize like 4 or 5 edges and then start making words out of the others.

The best way to do it is to memorize corners first, then memorize edges, then solve _edges_ first, then solve corners. This is called CEEC. When you memorize corners, use visual memory. Use actual words, and make a scene out of them in your head. When you memorize edges, use audio memory. It doesn’t need to be real words; just combine letters (sticking a vowel in between when needed) and pronounce them. Jack Cai has a good video for memo tips.
